IQ Puzzle #10 - Medium

Now that I have reached 10 puzzles I thought it would be neat to have a guest puzzle every once and a while. If you think this is a good idea let me know in the comments (I know you are all super creative). In any case, here is the puzzle, since it is #10 I included a hint.

The hint is meant to be difficult to understand, but if you can get it it should help you to solve this. Good luck!

  2. i'm either stuck or completely wrong.
after converting all the letters to numbers i subtracted the 3rd line from the first one which left me with two numbers that could each be added to the middle number (vertical) which would result in a "10".
but since "J" is the 10th letter in the alphabet "?" would be zero which would result in ...nothing 'cause there's no 0th letter.

If "j" would be an "i" however...the answer would be

    "D"

  8. @icey I definitely tried out your logic and it is sound (almost). You will be getting a point regardless for your hard work. The only thing that is a flaw in the logic is that if you look at your process it was to subtract the third line from the first line (26-17), (22-18), (BLANK-21). For the first you had a difference of 9 which added to the 1 was 10. The second was a difference of 4 which added to the 6 was 10. Logically since the middle number for the next was 10 you would need to add zero. This would mean however you would want the two letters in the third and first rows to be the same as (10+0=0). So technically using your method the answer would be the 21 or U.

Awesome job though, convictus went the easy route :p

  10. I've got no clue whatsoever. Of course, I'm sure the two glasses of wine haven't helped my deductive skills at all.

  11. The fact that the hint looks like a heart completely threw me off. Great puzzle, though.
